To obtain a copy of an accident report by mail, send a letter to the Whiteland Police Department requesting the accident report. Please provide sufficient information for Records to locate the report, such as the Report #, date of crash, location of crash, names of the driver(s) and/or vehicle owner(s). A fee of $5.00 must accompany the request for a copy of the accident report, payable by money order or cashier's check to the Whiteland Police Department. Also enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope for returning the report to you.

Copies may be obtained in person at the Whiteland Police Department Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The same information as above must be provided to the Records Office, and a money order, cashier's check, or cash in the amount $5.00 must be remitted at the time the copy is provided.
